Little history. Years ago, one of my best friends moved. His name was Kenneth Lee. This is the guy that is cause for a large part of my life. It is because of him I learned to ride a bike (he didn't teach me, I just had to learn). He shared my Zelda obsession which I have not found anywhere else since. This is the guy that put all of the lego guys on the castle in my room. I spent a lot of my life in his house. Six years ago, he moved. I have not talked with him since (I should stop being lazy and write him a letter...)
Yesterday was a good day. A REALLY good day. So good, I forgot I was sick... It started with Mr. Wright not being at rehersal. That is always a good thing. Then we went to the competition. We played... We did well. Then I hung out with Shannon, Rachel(10th grade flute), Shannon's brother(colin), and Rachels sister(Julia) (who I have seen before, but don't remember seeing Her at all). I watched as Colin and Julia talked and faught like they need to be going out. Not that they should, but that they need to. It was funny. Besides, Colin said "You are a geek too? I need to get your IM so we can talk!" Shannon objected to this.
Later, just for the hell of it, I asked Shannon if she knew who lived in Ken's old house. I have wondered this since about 2 months after he moved to California. (yes, he lives THERE. The place.) She had no idea. I don't blame her. No one would know.
Even Later, I was talking with the two Sarahs.(two freshmen that are best friends. I hate it when that happens. Same name...) I asked "do you know who lives in the house on Amwell? It is a green and white house with a large driveway, and a garage seperated by a dog run." her response was "that sounds like my house."
They were in fact the same house, and while it means nothing to anyone who would read this, it is amazing and I have answered a long asked question. More importantly, I had a high success rate seeing as I have only asked about 5 people. She did find it weird that I knew the layout of the house as well as she did, but I did spend several hours a week in that house...
Then, the final band performed and I wasn't sure why, but I found myself singing "Fat bottemed girls you make the rockin' world go round." Then my eyes opened up. The band was playing Queen. No Bohemian Rhapsody, but Queen none the less. Now I just need Journey, and I can graduate with a gigantic smile.
